The Pleasant Valley Recreation Association (PVRA) was founded over 30 years ago to provide a first class facility and social functions for its members and their families in and around the Pleasant Valley subdivision in Chantilly, Virginia.

The mission of the Pleasant Valley Recreation Association (PVRA) is to provide fun, affordable recreation facilities and social events for members of the Pleasant Valley and surrounding communities. We do this through our pool and recreation facility located at 4347 Cub Run Road, our annual golf tournament and various events throughout the year.

PVRA is managed by an elected board of 7 volunteers who serve for two-year terms. The board members hold the positions of president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, membership, operations and events. In addition, there are a number of sub-committees formed to assist the board on planning and implementing events for the membership. Members are encouraged to volunteer their talents and time in the sub-committees and by participation at the board meetings to ensure that their views are heard.

The Association also supports the youth in our community such as the Pleasant Valley swim team (the Piranhas). The Piranhas are always looking for swimmers (ages 5 to 18) who want to enjoy a summer of competition and fun!

Additional donations to the Pleasant Valley Recreation Association are greatly appreciated as they will directly support the Pleasant Valley Pool! Please note that the PVRA is not a 501(c)3.
